A Letter to Our Partners Regarding COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

I’m writing this letter to express my care and concern regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The pandemic has created a truly unprecedented situation which affects our families, business, communities, and way of life. I personally spent 14 days in quarantine and shifted to Home Office after I flew back from Europe in March. So I think everyone is very important and we must work together to combat this crisis.

First and foremost, the virus is so new that we know too little about it, and it’s now widespread across the globe. As our government has taken steps to reduce the spread of the diseases, all citizens are still very cautious and alert at all times. We assume if any of us get relaxed, the virus may reintroduced and causing the second wave of infection.

Secondly, the CTS headquarters in Taiwan is operating as normal. We are also doing our best to keep our employees as safe as possible, including advising them to wear face masks and keep social distancing. We also restricted all the business travel to secure the health and well-being of our employees and their families. As of our employees located in Japan, Austria, Germany and Sweden, we keep monitoring the policy of each country and communicate with our overseas colleagues regularly. We either encouraged them to work from home or reduce on-site workforce by 50%. The shift has been smooth so far and we continue to deliver the highest levels of performance and availability.

Thirdly, many worldwide trade shows and events have been postponed or cancelled. We’ve decided to withdraw the participation of COMPUTEX Taipei this year. As for other events in the second half 2020, we prefer to wait and see how the situation can evolved after summer to decide our attendance.

Last but not least, it’s not surprised to know that price and availability of components and parts have been affected as supply chains suffer. During this difficult time, CTS will do whatever we can to keep up with you needs.

As we go forward, we’ll be sure to keep you updated, and know that we always value your questions, ideas and feedback. Our team remains fully committed to supporting you through this difficult time, and on behalf of the team, wish you well and stay healthy.

With sincere and warm regards,

Antony Chen
